Happy New Year and welcome to 2023
After saying goodbye to 2022, we can now turn our hope and attention to what lies in store for us this coming year in 2023. On that note, it's a well-known fact that one way of keeping your spirits up is to focus less on the unpleasant things in life and more on the positive aspects of it. Since we're a waste management company and not a team of psychologists, we won't dwell on this but, suffice it to say, clearing out the old, unwanted rubbish that clutters up our homes is a great way to signify a fresh start and a new beginning. With a larger percentage of people now working from home than ever before, it makes sense to invest some time in making it a more comfortable and spacious environment to live in. So, if you're into New Year Resolutions, decluttering your life is a good one to start with!
Decluttering your home
Although it's still a tad early for a traditional spring clean, there's still plenty you can do around your home that will help make life a little easier when the warmer weather comes our way. Decluttering is a great way to make a start. Whatever the time of year, there's never a bad time to sort through your old junk and consider whether it's rubbish or not, and if you decided to be a bit more thorough, you could go over the whole house if you have some free time. A great general rule of thumb is that if you haven’t used it in the last year, then you probably won’t again; is time to get rid of it perhaps?
DIY chores
If you've been a busy bee and have already prepared your garden for winter or have undertaken some DIY work over the recent festive break, getting rid of the mess that's left behind ASAP is essential.
